I'm So Proud Of Maria...She Can Tie Her Shoes Now...All By Her Self

Yeah She's been working on tie-ing her shoes...for a while now...Every day she got a little better...Well We took her to Wal-mart to buy new shoes for School yesterday...and when we were @ Wal-mart She told us...Mommy Daddy I want to wear them when we get home..I said sure if ya want...I had this idea That she wanted to master it..Before starting grade 1....Well this morning she came running to me...Look Mommy I tied them all by myself..I was so happy for her.....She 1 happy girl..I tell ya.....And she's still wearing them around the house....~Way~To~Go~Maria~ She will be 6 years old in September not until the 18th...

That's great news to Daddy and Mommy...

Enjoying Our Summer..And the Beautiful Weather...Before It Start's To cool off...

Staying cool @ the Beach and Parks...Working....Looking after our little ladies..The girls are going for a sleep over tonight @ Gs parents...We have another Big Dinner to serve..At Victorian Elegance..Tonight...I'm washing Dishes....I just think it's to crazy to serve @ big Dinners...So I just asked if it's OK to wash all the dishes.... They smiled and said sure thing....I also get to help with everything..In the Kitchen..and bring out food to the tables..If they need an extra hand....Being on the Patio is just to crazy for me....But The Tearoom..Oh I love to serve...You get to meet the Sweetest Ladies on Earth......It s so relaxed then..But the dinners forget it...LOL...

Enjoying the Beautiful Weather

We enjoyed the Beautiful weather this Afternoon in the back yard..G man BBQ yummy steak and I made my famous mac salad w tuna.. Supper was so yummy and the sun was shining so beautiful...Then we went to Ruth's for tea for the evening..Well all the girls played together..We sat outside on Ruth's patio drinking tea... Enjoying ourselves... and listening to a thunderstorm..with no rain..It never really got bad outside..Just a few sounds happening...didn't last long at all....We got the girls home.. gave them a bath and tucked them in to bed...Sweet dreams... for them... After that I got a few things done in the house swept the floors and washed them too Ahhhh Pine-Sol fresh and clean......Now its time for me to relax and have a bath and tea.. Then off to bed... Working @Dogs We Love in the morning...Can't wait to bake my little heart out again..I didn't get enough from today...Heheheeheheheeh

We enjoyed a great weekend of camping @ KOA campground just outside of Belmont, Ont. and the 401...It was the greatest they had a pool (that's open from 10am til 9pm) The little ladies sure enjoyed the pool and the park, mini, golf checker and snakes and ladder games And enjoying with other little childern too....There's one thing that KOA was missing they don't have any trails The girls still had a great time.. Maria Had the time of her life She got to pet Puppies and Doggies of different sizes and breeds..She tells everyone that she wants to be a Dog Groomer when she gets older... Well camping they also had a spa (hot tub) for the Adults...Where the pool was....wow it was sure nice to jump in the hot tub after working a few hrs @ Victorian Elegance on Friday and Saturday afternoon it was nice I didn't have to drive that far into work from the camp ground or back..We normally go camping to fanshawe conservation... And I didn't want to drive back and forth from London And I knew about KOA for the longest time ..So I thought It was a great time to check out KOA they have campgrounds all over Canada and USA.. And boy did we see really big RVs Pulling in and out as they toured Ont Canada..Well I was in the Hot tub I was talking to an older fellow.. He was from Maine USA and on his way to see family and friends in New York.. So they wanted to tour thu Ont Canada So they stayed a night @ KOA.. I never got to meet his wife...Well We were camping We also got to go to the drive-in...It was not even 5 Min's away from KOA We seen Harry Potter & the other movie..Well we didn't stay very long for that one it was Orphan...very wicked and twisted...I tell ya... So well left real fast...I thought it was going to be a family movie NOT......Well we took off fast....I was not impressed with the start of it....We took the gang back to the campground and put M&M to bed..After that G and I had some Tea and called it a night...Sunday and today I had both days off.. So I could really enjoy the weekend... We took the girls for mini golf and pool then a yummy treat on sunday...This morning we got up and enjoyed the park, pool.. then we packed up and left for home..We had a great time for sure..Oh ya they even had a Dog park there to Jaky really enjoyed himself there......Its a great place to camp..

Oh Have I Told you I love both my jobs...

I really do love both...It's great...I can work both jobs.. with no worries about being here or there at the same time...I been working a few days At dogs we love this week and the rest of the week I'm at Victorian Elegance... But most weeks I'm @ Dogs we love...I'm almost @ 40 hrs a week with both jobs...It's to funny to hear our little ladies talking to each other in the morning when Im getting ready in the morning (Is mommy working @ Dogs We Love or Victorian Elegance today)I giggle when I hear them...Hmmm look @ what mommy's wearing...That gives them.. the idea where I am that day...Then I get oh mommy you look pretty... and I say aww thanks girls...I'm also working up front in the store..@ Dogs We Love...I get to meet lots of cute puppies & Doggies..Oh I love my jobs... It's nice to wake up in the morning and say that..It's a great feeling........

The Clothesline

A clothesline was a news forcast To neighbours passing by.
There were no secrets you could keep when clothes were hung to dry.

It also was a friendly link For neighbours always knew
If company had stopped on by To spend a night or two.

For then you'd see the fancy sheets
And towels on the line;
You'd see the company tablecloths
With intricate design.

The line announced a baby's birth
To folks who lived inside
As brand new infant clothes were hung
So carefully with pride

The age of the children could
So readily be known
By watching how the sizes changed
You'd Know how much they'd grown.

It also told when illness struck,
As extra sheets were hung;
Then nightclothes, and a bathrobe,too,
Haphazardly were strung.

It said,"Gone on vacation now"
When lines hung limp and bare.
It told, 'We're back!" when full lines sagged
With not an inch to spare.

New folks in town were scorned apon
If wash was dingy gray,
As neighbours carefully raised their brows,
And looked the other away.

But clotheslines now are of the past
For dryers make work less.
Now what goes on inside a home
Is anybody's guess

I really miss that way of life.
It was a friendly sign
When neighbours knew each other best
By what hung on the line!
